“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Acts 2:42

What is ACF?

Who we are

Adventist Christian Fellowship (ACF) is a campus ministry in New York City serving undergraduate and graduate students across the five boroughs. Through worship, Bible study, service, and fellowship, ACF seeks to support students in their spiritual, emotional, and social growth as they navigate university life.

Our Story

Founded in 2001 by Columbia students who desired a space to gather regularly for prayer, Bible study, and community, ACF NYC has grown into a joint organization between NYU and Columbia. Moreover, the group has expanded to include students from other schools like CUNY, Juilliard, Hunter College, and other institutions throughout the city. Today, ACF continues to be a student-centered fellowship where students from diverse backgrounds can grow in faith, form meaningful relationships, and serve God together.

Our Purpose

Rooted in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition, ACF provides regular gatherings, service opportunities, and community-building events designed to help students cultivate faith, purpose, and a sense of belonging. We hope to equip students not only to remain grounded in Christ during college, but also to become agents of compassion, service, and positive change in their universities, the city, and the world.

All Are Welcome

While ACF is grounded in Christian faith and Adventist beliefs, we welcome students and friends from all backgrounds to join us, ask questions, build community, and walk with us on this journey of faith

As a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Adventist Christian Fellowship holds to the core beliefs of historic Christianity, which shape our love for God and our desire to serve others.

Our Staff

While ACF is student-led, we are blessed to be supported by pastors who provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and care. Their role is to encourage students, support our leadership team, and help us stay rooted in Christ as we grow together in faith and fellowship.
